We do SIDE.
We are developers of a new genre of software... What we like to call Spreadsheets for
Engineers.
|
Today many people such as accountants and financial planners use spreadsheet software
which allows them to do many mathematical calculations by already provided functions.
Even engineers use this but it has a very limited use because the dependencies are
much more complicated. They may require a 100 or 10,000 lines of code to relate
one cell (say a component) to another. Besides, many components have tens or even
hundreds of inputs and outputs which need to be connected properly to one
other or several components.
SIDE was developed
as an internal product by a group of scientists in USA. The potential for SIDE,
it was realised, was much more than earlier estimates of an internal use. Therefore
xSIDE Software Development Pvt. Ltd., India was created to take over further development
of SIDE.

SIDE can be used to create any type of engineering system and system of systems
using simple drag and drop UI. After creating the model, the user can analyse the
impact of various actions on this model.
